Freelance web development & programming

Web programming is the creation of a website that handles information and manipulates it in some way. Some well-known web applications include Amazon, eBay, Google search and Hotmail.

There are many ways in which a bespoke web application can improve working process. Businesses can use a web application to coordinate amongst geographically distributed workers. An e-commerce website gives a business a virtual shop, where customers can view stock and order goods and services on-line.

Websites integrated with storage systems can allow managers to publish important company documents (behind a password system if required), allowing staff (or potential clients if appropriate) to view these documents on-line. There are many other things web applications can do. Please make an enquiry if you are interested in knowing whether your business could benefit.

When designing web applications, as with any work, a key goal is to ensure that the work I create is user friendly, and simple to use. I will provide user training where appropriate, as well as long-term support.
